R&R initially started at Yousician in the summer of 2017. We had ambitious plans to scale the organization and accordingly brought in seasoned professionals for leading our HR and recruiting function. Writing this today, we have doubled the team from 50+ to 110+ and R&R have been a critical part of opening up our New York office and building out our revamped leadership team. R&R re-architected our recruitment, on-boarding and performance management processes to enable us to hire and retain top talent. We went from having no real outbound strategy to hiring 54 hires in 2018 with 50% of those hires coming from outbound recruitment campaigns. They’ve been a real asset for us and subsequently we’ve retained them as consultants.
