UEAT is a startup that offers a digital online ordering system. My job was to understand the demands of managers in each department. My tasks then included posting positions, screening, conducting phone and in-person interviews, negotiating salaries with candidates, and presenting the job offer. For certain positions, such as developer, product owner, and graphic designer, I conducted prequalification tests.

I was hiring people who did housekeeping in colleges. For this position, I conducted several express interviews because the position did not require too many specific qualifications. I also recruited security guards. I made sure they had a valid license and the recruitment was a little more thorough than for housekeeping attendants. For all positions, I took care of doing the full recruitment cycle and since it was to work in schools, I conducted a criminal record investigation as well as reference checks.

Working at the Marriott Hotel required me to be very versatile in my recruiting as I was hiring for positions ranging from housekeeping to management positions. It was very important to understand the needs of the managers of the various departments of the hotel in order to find the right people for each of the positions to be filled.
