React Native Frontend Developer
Working closely with the MD in Ireland. We were tasked with finding a Senior React Engineer with a strong Local presence. The business needed someone that could work in a small but growing team and develop their career over the long term. We needed to find a very specific type of person as well as a strong skill basis. We always aim to find local talent for all our customers and this job was no different. We utilised out fantastic local network as well as using the likes of LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook and a few other social channels such as GitHub. We assessed and interviewed over 80 people for the role, but because of the niche requirement we ended up sending around 6-7 CVs. 4 were interview, 2 offered and 1 is currently onsite as of April 24.
BD Medical
Full Stack Dev project
We were tasked with looking for some Full Stack .NET Developers for a leading Medical Device Company that are building a new team in Vienna to tackle a large automation project to ease the workload of the Pharmacist. The market for .Net Developers like anywhere is very competitive. We worked to very tight budgets (paying under the market rate) using the new technology as a hook to attract candidates. We attracted around 15 Developers, 9 of which were interviewed, 3 offered and 2 took the role. 1 is currently onsite working and the other is due to start next week. Sourcing is very specific for a role like this, thankfully we have a large EU network that attracted people in Austria pretty quick. Granted few would suit the requirements, we managed to use networks of networks to get more applications. We headhunted in LinkedIn and indeed and eventually found the right type of people for the role. We learn fast from past mistakes and give an outstanding customer experience to all involved
NDA - Airline
Data Engineers
We have an on-going arrangement with a leading European Airline with operations all over the world. They are undertaking a large transformation project upgrading their current IT Infrastructure to a cloud eco system. We have worked on numerous projects within the digital transformation including adding Network Engineers, Data Engineers and Software Engineers. We have a strong relationship with the team built over time and look forward to many more years of progress together. The roles are generally worked to tight budgets and shows are ability to attract the most career focused and skilled Engineers. We always work to our customers requirements and budgets. Offering the best in class service is priority number 1 for Elwood Roberts and it shows with our ability to get more and more work out of our current clients.
